TESTIMONIALS
Jas took me from trail runner to ultra cyclist
"I came to Jas as a trail runner and mountain biker with a wild idea: become an ultra cyclist and race the Silk Road Mountain Race. Choosing SRMR as my first event was bold; choosing Jas as my coach was brilliant.
What makes Jas extraordinary isn’t just her ultra cycling knowledge. It’s her mastery of mindset, female physiology at all ages, nutrition, and the tiny details that make or break a race. She’s organized, thoughtful, and always prepared. Every training block comes with purpose. Her mindset work has been just as transformative as the training itself.
After a strong SRMR debut DNF, we applied the lessons to 2026 — resulting in finishes in subsequent races. My fitness, planning, and confidence continue to grow thanks to Jas’ coaching.
And I’ve loved being part of the community she’s created — both online and in person — at her spring DotBooster training camp, which I highly recommend."
Blair Blackwell - SRMR rider; Finisher: Final Frontier Patagonia, El Piri Jas is the full package!
"This year, I wanted to really push myself physically and mentally, so I signed up for a one-day event that had significantly more elevation and distance than I’d ever done. To help prepare, I took on a coach for the first time. And it was so much better than I could have hoped for! Jas' coaching approach was perfectly tailored to me and my big event: the 202km Wachau Radmarathon with 3000m+ elevation, to be completed in 9 hours or less. The physical training combined with the essential mental and nutritional aspects gave me the confidence and tools I needed to keep pushing and make it to the end. More than that, it was a real pleasure to work with Jas. I learned so much and I’m truly proud of the gains I made this year. I couldn’t be more thankful to have such a great coach. Looking forward to what next year brings."
Nicole Ostrand - Krone Champions Wachau Radmarathon Jas gave me the confidence to pull off this big race for my 40th birthday!
"Jas was brilliant to work with in the run-up to the Tour Divide. She built a training schedule around my work that really worked and with a data-focussed approach. Using long rides to practice fueling and nutrition techniques was really helpful. What really stood out, though, was the mental side — the strategies she gave me for pushing through the low points made all the difference over such a long race. I am so grateful for all her help and support which gave me the confidence to pull this off".
Rachel Fox - Tour Divide 2026 Jas helped me achieve my dream objective: I finished in sub 4 days!
"I loved having Jas as my coach to prepare for the Desertus Bikus this year. She gave me structured training, specific to ultra cycling, while adapting to my work and personal life, and helped me improve dramatically! She's fantastic at coaching everything that comes with ultra racing: mindset, race strategy before and during the event, and women-specific challenges. I arrived at the start line well-prepared and I enjoyed every moment of the race. I can't wait to start a new season with her!"
Floriane Le Saule - Desertus Bikus 2026 Jas' support went far beyond training plans
"I couldn’t be more thankful to Jas for helping me balance training alongside a busy professional schedule, while guiding me to a 2nd place finish at Desertus Bikus.
Her support went far beyond training plans: the advice and education on nutrition and mental tools made a huge difference in both my performance and confidence.
Jas is warm, supportive, highly professional, and an accomplished athlete herself: the perfect combination for an amazing coach. I’m already excited for the next goals we’ll work towards together next year knowing I will be in great hands."
Alice Inbona - Desertus Bikus What set Jas' coaching apart was how she paired the mental side of preparation with a genuinely scientific approach to the physical
"I worked with Jas to train for Vätternrundan. She ran INSCYD testing early on to establish where my strengths and limiters were. Every session that followed was built off that data rather than a generic plan — so I always understood why I was doing a particular session and what it was targeting. That explanation was what kept me committed: it's much easier to stay consistent when you can see the logic behind the plan rather than just following instructions. On top of that, her communication was always clear and direct, and she was flexible enough to keep the whole process genuinely enjoyable rather than a grind. I finished having beaten my own expectations for the event, and I'd recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking to step up — especially for ultra and endurance events."
Matt Fenby Taylor - Vätternrundan Jas is always keen to know how best to support me
"When I first started training with Jas, I never imagined how far I’d come in such a short space of time. Less than two years ago, I just about made it to the finish line of a 790km race — completely drained and unsure if I could ever go further. With Jas’ coaching, I not only built the physical capacity to take on much bigger challenges, but also the mental resilience to see them through. This year, I completed a 4,000km race, arriving before the finishers' party and as 3rd female finisher. It’s not just the structured training that increased my fitness, but also the constant belief, encouragement, and support Jas gives me. She never lost faith in me, even when I doubted myself or was going through a hard time with autistic burnout. Her knowledge, guidance, and unwavering positivity have given me so much more than a bigger FTP — Jas has helped me discover what I’m truly capable of, both on and off the bike."
Fiona Shorten - VIA Race, ASA Epic, Ultrabiking Sardinia I thought I was done with making progress, until I started to be coached by Jas!
"She pushes me to be a more powerful cyclist. Not only in terms of watts, but really in terms of all that matters for ultra races. She shares so many resources and tools about training as a woman, strategy, enjoyment and mental strength that I felt confident at every starting line. I achieved way better results than I ever expected thanks to her, her approach guided me to several podiums in ultra races, and most importantly I had the best times of my life racing them. I’m taking a pause from ultras now, but if I get back to it, I’ll definitely work with her again."
Elise Sauvinet - Desertus Bikus, French Road 66, Transibérica, Lost Dot 101, TCRNo12 Working with Jas since 2024 has been transformative
"Reaching my 12‑hour TT goal was a milestone that meant so much. After a bonus 24-hour TT win, Jas supported me through a period of rediscovery. She helped me understand what truly makes me want to ride my bike. As my interests evolved, Jas encouraged my growth. I’ve developed into new areas, especially off‑road ultras - The Mountains of Merfynion in 2025, Headstock 500 and Dorset Divide in 2026 - , and I also dipped into Audaxes. My most recent challenge, Le Mans 24heures Vélo, was tough. Moving from non‑drafting disciplines to learning how to jump on wheels was a shock. But Jas’ training and her belief in me gave me the resilience to keep going. Jas' training plans always make perfect sense, and her knowledge around menopause symptoms is exceptional. She understands the realities women face and adapts training with empathy, intelligence, and genuine care."
Michelle Lindley - Welsh 12hr TT, Nat 24hr TT, MOTM, Headstock 500, Dorset Divide, Le Mans 24h Vélo I’ve gone from Richmond Park novice to L’Etape du Tour finisher !
"As someone who took up cycling during the Covid-19 pandemic, I’ve gone from Richmond Park novice to L’Etape du Tour finisher in just over 3 years and training with Jas has been a huge driver of this achievement. Jas added three vital dimensions to my training, without which I would have struggled to reach my goals this year. Jas improved the quality of my physical training by training smart. She gave me invaluable information about every aspect of my set-up. And she gave me the belief I needed to dream big and cross the finish line. I am forever better at an activity that is so central to my happiness and wellbeing, and already looking forward to next year’s goals!"
Jo Reynolds - L'Étape du Tour Finisher I love Jas' holistic approach and emphasis on enjoying the ride !
I started cycling in the pandemic to get a little bit of freedom. A hobby quickly turned into a passion. I wanted to ride further, but I kept hitting the wall. Only after I started training with Jas, I was able to progress. In 2024, I rode my first 200km Brevet. In 2025, I pushed myself with La Reine, a long and hilly women-only sportive in Switzerland and cycled back to Munich afterwards. In 2026, Jas helped me to navigate a busy work schedule and smash all my PBs at the Ultra Duch Puszczy race in Poland. Working with Jas during my ultra cycling journey means I can avoid many mistakes and rely on her advice. She makes sure I understand the reasons behind my training and develop my mental skills too. Thanks to Jas I feel confident in my endurance and ready to take on new challenges!
Dominika Pasternak - La Reine, Ultra Duch Puszczy I learnt so much about cycling, myself and what I want to do
In 2024 I decided to get myself back in shape. I booked the Torino Nice Rally for July 2025, but having never done such a big cycling challenge before I knew I needed help, and was glad to find in Jas a female coach that specialises in long distance cycle coaching. My ambitions were to become the best me I could be so that I could achieve and enjoy the TNR. In preparation, I cycled the King Alfred Way in 3 days in April, and then in May I did the Headstock 200 MTB event. They went well; I was stronger already. Jas even met me halfway through the Headstock 200 with a hug which really cheered me up and I eventually finished as 2nd female. Throughout Jas carefully managed my fatigue levels, my weekly training load and my nerves and expectations to ensure I was ready to achieve my goal. The TNR was tough, but I was loving it and felt so happy when I cycled into Nice having achieved my big goal. Thank you Jas.
Carole Welch - Torino Nice Rally I've learnt to find my feet in my sport and to thrive on the effort
"I contacted Jas after my first ultra on the very good advice of one of her former clients (thanks Julia!) and I haven't regretted it for a second! I discovered an extremely professional and present coach, who is committed to developing her clients' abilities while respecting their wishes and goals. Thanks to Jas, I've learnt to find my feet in my sport and to thrive on the effort. Her advice on how to approach races has been invaluable to me, and some of it will remain with me every day! Jas' help, her presence and what she unlocked in me in terms of physical and mental strength enabled me to tackle my challenges calmly, both on the bike and in my day-to-day life. I would never have gone from the flat Race around the Netherlands to the super hilly Kromvojoj in 4 years without her help. Thank you so much for being there Jas!"
Delphine Morel de Westgaver: from RATN to Kromvojoj via 2x PCR Jas' insight into pacing, feeding, event day strategy, and general psychology was invaluable
"I entered the Mallorca 312 - having never done such a long distance in one day - because I really wanted to push myself and see what I was capable of. I had done OK at a few big sportives like Haute Route Alpe d’Huez but felt I could have done better. Jas’ training was absolutely perfect. So much so that the next year I came back for more at The Fred Whitton and the Dragon Ride and I was really pleased to see that the numbers kept going up and the events got easier. By the time we got to the final goal each training session was almost perfectly designed to push me right to my ever expanding limits. Thanks to Jas’ coaching the big days all went off without a hitch and I was able push harder much later in the day than I thought would have been possible. I even ended up as the 3rd fastest finisher in the Dragon Devil Ride (296km)."
David Pichler: Mallorca 312, Fred Whitton & Dragon Devil Finisher There is plenty I would'nt do right if preparing for such adventure alone
"I write this as I approach the final month before the Silk Road Mountain Race. An event that has held me spellbound since the 1st edition. Jas helped me prepare for last year’s Rhino Run where I was the only woman to finish the remote off-road race over 2700km through South Africa & Namibia. This year Jas is guiding me through my preparation for another daunting yet exciting adventure. After Rhino Run, Jas made a comprehensive record of our chats about what had and had not worked. I now use that to decide upon tactics for SRMR. Jas prepared me then for the heat, and this time for altitude. As a successful ultra-endurance cyclist herself (and a soon to be formally qualified exercise physiologist), Jas understands all the details of the pedaling parts of training while also considering the complete package of what it takes to achieve success. I am absolutely relaxed in following her advice."
Claire Stevens | Rhino Run & SRMR Jas flexes her coaching style to support her clients' needs and is great at helping shape plans that work around "life"
"I've worked with Jas for 2.5 years now. Coming out of COVID, seeking goals and motivation, Jas supported me to re-build my fitness and focus; and establish a training baseline using INSYCD physiological testing.
I've since ridden my furthest events (175km/5000m+ Marmotte and 296km Dragon Ride), setting my best power numbers along the way. Most recently, coming back from an injury, I comfortably completed the 2024 Étape du Tour. I've met inspirational riders and new friends through Jas' cycling training camps in Italy and Spain, having fun whilst benefitting from advice, reassurance and on- and off-bike coaching. Jas' dedication to the sport and passion for seeing her clients succeed comes through strongly. I feel privileged to have the support of a coach with so much knowledge and experience. Bring on next season!"
Liane Jackson - multi Gran Fondo Finisher The tool box Jas has given me was invaluable to crossing the finish line
"I owe a lot to Jas for showing me what my body is really capable of - from starting my first ultra race two years ago to now having finished 2x Transcontinental races, the Transpyrees, plus a growing list of others! Working in TV means I regularly travel to remote locations where it’s not always possible to take a bike, but Jas makes every second of training count, highlighting the importance of working with hormones to maximise performance - something I previously knew nothing about! Ultra training goes far beyond strengthening just the legs. The mental tool box Jas has given me has been invaluable to crossing every finish line and I feel like I’ve unlocked a new level of resilience that I never knew I had."
Lizzie Jenkins - Finisher of TCRNo8 & No10 | Transpyrenees | Wild West Country | A Bike Race Jas is pragmatic, thoughtful, and relentlessly supportive
"I caught the ultracycling bug in 2023 after tackling Dead Ends & Dolci and the inaugural Utrecht Ultra. I finished both but I needed guidance - both in the craft of ultracycling and in training for races. When we started working together, I had already entered the Transibérica. I knew it was ambitious with 2,800km and 48,000m of climbing, but the route really inspired me. Jas believed it was possible —with the right mindset and plan. Her coaching was invaluable in both areas. She helped me build a sustainable training schedule and pushed me to test every bit of my kit in real-world conditions - which proved absolutely essential. Thanks to Jas, I’ve not only made it to start lines and crossed finish lines I never thought possible, but I’ve also found the courage to go beyond what I believed were my limits. And in doing so, I’ve experienced some of the most unforgettable moments of joy on my bike."
Rachel Mortimer - Transibérica & 45SouthWest Training with Jas has become an important part of my life
"Training with Jas has become an important aspect of my life. Jas really understands the subtleties of training women and working with your hormones to get the best out of yourself. Jas gives me structure and motivation to continue to work hard throughout the year. I have become a much stronger all-round cyclist, improving my power and endurance. I may be one of the older members of my cycling club and yet I have taken part in crit racing, TT’s, Team TT’s, off road, gravel & Audax adventures and have been pretty happy with the results !"
Raz Marsden - World Record Holder - Tandem World Navigation & Solstice Sprint Finisher 14 countries and 4224km in 14D2H0M - It is all about the cake !
"TCRNo8 was my first ultra race - actually my first ever bike race (!) - and a big step up from previous rides, but it was an incredible experience and I’m really pleased with how everything went. Going into the race, my aims were to enjoy it, finish it, and ideally get to the finishers' party. I’m absolutely delighted that I smashed these aims, finishing well ahead of the party and having thoroughly enjoyed it. It really showed how much all of the training and hard work over the last 3 years working with Jas were worth it, and there’s no way I would have managed without her excellent coaching. Although it was pretty tough and quite tiring, I really enjoyed my whole TCR experience. I did also particularly enjoy finding bakeries all across Europe and eating as many different cakes as possible! It is all about the cake.”
Andy Yates - TCRNo8 Finisher | Experienced Randonneur Jas works in partnership with me so the training fits around my busy life
"With a busy life outside of cycling, I was conscious that my training was not as targeted or effective as it could be. Jas provided me with the structure and ongoing feedback that enabled me to successfully complete multiple endurance challenges within my everyday constraints. After self-supported trips in 2021, incl the NorthCoast500, I did the (shorter route) Pan Celtic Race in 2022, as a pair. We completed it in 6D0H0M and came 2nd in our category! In 2023 I did the PCR again, completing a slightly further distance in the same time, managing the length of Wales in a day, coming 3rd in category. In 2024 when the PCR distance (and climbs !) increased we finished 2nd in category. Jas' training has given me the ability to undertake these races with a smile on my face and without ever doubting that I will cross the finish line."
Duncan Fitter - NorthCoast500 | 3 x Pan Celtic Race Finisher Jas made my journey into this slightly crazy side of the sport great fun
"I have seen so many positive changes since starting training with Jasmijn in 2020. Her intimate knowledge of what is required to complete and compete in endurance events is invaluable and has made such a difference to both my training and the race results that have followed since. The training program is certainly not easy but is flexible enough to deal with family, work and the odd curve ball that life throws at you every now and again. My power numbers have increased dramatically across the board. However, the weekly time on the bike has remained the same which was important for me.
I’m looking forward to 2023 and working with Jas towards more ultra-distance challenges."
Steve Branagh - BikingMan Corsica & Portugal | Pedalma Madrid to Barcelona | The Traka Through Jas' training I shaved 10 hours off my previous PBP time
"I was a late starter in cycling. I bought my first road bike when I was 53 ! I then discovered the joys of Audax and long distance cycling as an escape from living and working in Central London. Cycling 600km at a steady pace wasn’t really difficult for me as the core endurance was obviously there; however, I couldn’t find my accelerator. Six months before my third Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) 1,200km cycling event I started training with Jasmijn, with the aim of completing PBP in under 84-hours. Having spoken to other coaches I couldn’t really find anyone else who understood long-distance cycling, and through Jas’ training I shaved 10 hours off my previous PBP time in 2019. I certainly feel fitter, more prepared and ready for another long distance challenge."
Adrian Wikeley - PBP & Solstice Sprint Finisher Jas helps me to challenge myself, while having a lot of fun in the process
"I have now been training with Jas for 5 years. It seems like only yesterday when I asked her to prepare me for LEL after a bad period of injuries and DNFs. Since successfully completing that first multi-day Audax, Jas has helped me achieve all the cycling goals I set myself, thanks to her professional approach based on science and her experience as an ultra cyclist. She is constantly improving her knowledge, and I've enjoyed being a guinea pig for some of her research experiments! I know that no matter what life throws at me, I can trust Jas to give me the best possible preparation for my events, be it a multi-day Audax, a bikepacking race, the Cinglés du Mont Ventoux, or a cyclocross race: all I have to do is discuss it with her, follow the program, and be at the start."

Behind every strong woman is a strong woman
“Since I started training with Jas in 2021, I have seen a transformation in my cycling performance and enjoyment. I really appreciate how Jas not only provides me with a plan for the cycling sessions, but also guides me on everything else that is needed to be successful in ultra cycling. I love all the notes about mental training because I think this is a big game changer in long distance cycling. Talking with Jas about the race strategy calms me down. She gives me a good plan to achieve my goals, but also taught me to go with the flow as I cannot control everything. Last summer Jas turned me into a Race across France winner. This summer I won the Italy Divide, finished TCR No9 one day ahead of the Finisher’s Party and ended my cycling season with a 67hr Paris Brest Paris celebration. I am super happy with my results, but my motto remains "Ride for the Story, not for the Ranking !"
Sara Hallbauer - RAF, Italy Divide, TCR and PBP I have not only become a much stronger rider but a smarter one too
"Jasmijn has given me great insight in how - as a 45 year old woman with all the hormonal changes happening - I can maximize the possibilities of what I can do.
The awesome thing about her coaching is that she seems to know exactly what challenges me, but is not beyond reach.
I love the variety Jasmijn offers. A new training week in TrainingPeaks is like opening a box of presents.
Another reason why I would recommend Jasmijn as a coach is the feedback and practical tips, backed up with science and in-depth articles. I have not only become a much stronger rider but a smarter one too".
Miriam Reeders - MTB & Gravel Challenges & Tours Thank you for making my dream a reality !
" I’m incredibly grateful to have had Jasmijn as my coach when I took on my first ultra cycling event, the NorthCape4000 in 2023. Her experience and personalised training plan were crucial in preparing me for the challenges of the race. With Jasmijn’s guidance, I not only crossed the finish line well ahead of the official cut-off time, but I also far exceeded my own expectations with my 18 day finish and performance throughout. With Jas' insights, I felt confident and well-prepared throughout the entire journey. This race was a monumental achievement for me. Thank you for making my dream a reality !"
Paolo Ladisa - NC4000 Finisher I finished it with my body, bike, mind and bum all in great shape !
"I worked with Jas for six months to prepare for Badlands 2023, a gravel race in Andalucia, Spain (800km and 15,000vm) with some secondary goals (Dirty Reiver, Frontier 300) along the way. The training programme worked perfectly so that I enjoyed the process of building my fitness as part of a busy life. We worked in lots of time-efficient and targeted trainer sets, my regular cycle commutes, and just enough long weekend rides to be enjoyable without ever feeling like I had to be riding my bike absolutely all the time. I really enjoyed Jas’ mindfulness and focus tips – long distance cycling is all about managing the body, the bike, the mind and the bum in equal measure – and the yoga sessions too. Oh, and the actual event was brilliant. I enjoyed it tremendously and finished it with my body, bike, mind and bum all in great shape!"
Kate Greer - Badlands 2023 (#worselands) Finisher Toughtful and pragmatic coaching
"When I reached out to Jas with my idea for a personal challenge of riding 1,000km from London to Turin, my experience on the bike included a few long rides, including 100km, once. Her answer: "I like the sound of your 2023 goal." From that point forward it's been an incredible journey of training and building up the physical and mental skills under Jas' supervision and very thoughtful and pragmatic coaching. She kept it challenging but achievable, and always adaptable to meet the unexpected hurdles and my crazy work and travel schedule. In late September not only did I accomplish my goal, but I crossed the finish line of the 1,080km journey feeling like I could probably ride another 1,000km"
Rodrigo Louro - London to Turin I set off on my trip full of confidence that I was in good shape
"After a testing few years, it was time to return to cycling adventures with an ‘end-to-end’ still missing from my palmarès.
I booked Skeddadle’s classic, St Malo to Nice. Despite my trip being badged as a ‘holiday’, 1500km in 13 days of back to back riding was an endurance challenge for which preparation was needed. I was drawn to Jas as she understands the challenges of incorporating training into a busy professional life whilst navigating one’s way through the menopause. I loved having a programme to follow and targets to meet. Having said that, training with Jas also taught me how to rest. The first week of the trip was blisteringly hot. As a red head, the heat is not my best friend but my fitness helped me to ride within myself. I felt strong every day and I had the time of my life making my way through the ever changing landscape. I’d encourage anyone to give a multi-day adventure a go."
Nia James - St Malo to Nice | Mizenhead to Malinhead
